After Health Care, Campaign Finance Becomes Legislative Priority

BNA Money & Politics Reports ($) published an article about the new legislative push to enact campaign finance reform legislation now that the health care legislation has passed.  The new legislation is being pushed by Congressional Democrats who fear that the Citizens United decision will result more groups sponsoring advertisements critical of Democratic candidates and their policy positions.  The article also states that Democratic Senator Schumer and Congressman Van Hollen will finally introduce their legislation designed to chill corporate speech after the Spring recess.  The legislative framework for their anticipated bill can be found here.
